QLOLA is the integrated corporate solution platform of Bank Rakyat Indonesia. I joined its frontend in May 2023, and I develop and maintain it together with the backend, QA and product teams.
What I worked on
From the Pages Router to the App Router
The application was built on the Next.js Pages Router. I contributed to its migration to the App Router architecture.
From JavaScript to TypeScript
I refactored the legacy codebase as I went:
- converted JavaScript to TypeScript
- pulled repeated interface into reusable components
- moved shared behaviour into custom hooks
- optimised logic that was doing more work than it needed to
Micro frontends
Several teams build on the same frontend. I researched a micro frontend architecture with Webpack Module Federation, to explore how the frontend could scale for development across teams.
Where it stands
The work is ongoing: I am still on the team.
